Brief explanations of disorders above.
As a reminder: Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Development expressive language disorder and Phonological awareness problems are difficult to improve only by Montessori methods because of its symptoms and causes.
In Montessori, use of tactile in practicing writing such as tracing letters with your fingers ( for example, tracing letters made of sandpaper) are recommended. Adding the sense of touch makes it easier to understand.
One way to practice at home is to use a notepad to practice “writing”. After tearing off the required amount of pages from the notepad, write the letters of Alphabet or the child’s mother tongue on them. It is a good idea to write vowels and consonants in different colors. This helps to capture the characteristics of the letters. The child can trace the letter and also use them to make words.
